As noted in topic http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3253 it is posible to change how Myth Music displays the tree of music files to match your preferences.

In the thread, a user notes that he has a couple hundred gigabytes of mp3 music, all nicely stored in a directory tree as he prefers. Myth Music by default builds a tree where the first level is ranges of letters or numbers, then artist names within those ranges, then album names within each artist name, then by song on that album.

If you would rather use the directory tree structure you have already created, then follow these instructions:

  • Go to Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> Media Settings -> Music Settings -> General Settings.
  • Go down to "Tree Sorting:" and just type directory
  • Next -> Finish

And you should be good to go.
